GATES OF WINTER: Debut Album Samples Available

July 14, 2007

Northern Ontario's GATES OF WINTER has updated its official web site to include two tracks from the band's upcoming debut disc "Lux Aeterna". According to the group, "Life Force Rapture" is "a lengthy, dark and eventually explosive track from the band, whereas the self-titled instrumental 'Gates of Winter' provides the listener insight into their complex melodic arrangements."

According to GATES OF WINTER's official bio, "Lux Aeterna" "personifies [the band's] inspirations and influences into 60 minutes of pure energy, melody and passion. Sonically, GATES OF WINTER is a collection of OPETH, DREAM THEATER and DARK TRANQUILLITY combined into one wave of melodic, symphonic metal."
